I came across this case file last week at the LA Coroner’s site and I was shocked at first by the date, and then I just felt sad that no one has ever claimed her I’ve seen thousands of unidentified dead people, but for some reason there is just something about this one that really gets to me. She died 3 months and 2 1/2 miles away from where Bobby Kennedy was assassinated, and there was so much tumult going on in the country in general, it makes you wonder how much of that was playing on her mind at the time.
Yeah, I’m not sure if she simply had no wisdom teeth or if they were pulled. I’m thinking they meant that she had had them pulled.

Also, how did they not know the color of her pullover shirt and pants?

I’ve only seen the case mentioned here, on doenetwork, and on the original LA coroner’s site, and it is the same info every time. I wish there was any other information, like how they knew she had been seen on the corner down the street earlier, or why they thought she might have died elsewhere. I looked up the location on Google Earth and it looks like she died behind a house in an alley or in a field/park (there is a park there now) a half-block from the place where she was last seen alive.

Sadly, because of the time frame and the location of the body, LEA are likely considering her to be a prostitute. Those cases don;t get priority for some reason.
Frankly, I don’t care what skin color, ethnicity, religion, lifestyle… this was someone’s daughter. POSSIBLY someone’s mother.
In my personal studies of crime and missing persons, I find that black women are the lowest on the totem pole. It makes me ill.

Evonne,
Have you contacted LE regarding this case? Sometimes if anyone contacts them, they will investigate.
